DAY 1
Jaipur, the Pink City – Our adventure begins in Jaipur, a megacity painted a witching shade of terracotta. As we landed in jaipur airport we struggled to get a transportation as the autowalas tried to lure money from us for a mere 5 km distance but this is where the city’s public transportation comes handy and affordable. after reaching our hotel The Shapura Palace we got ready and set out to view The beauty of Hawa Mahal, or” Palace of Winds,” under the moonlight with its intricate facade, motions shutterbugs. I must say taking a perfect picture with the Hawa Mahal is one hell of a task, like there’s literally a restaurant right opposite to the palace charging 400 for a picture per person but we found a crazy jugaad way to find another spot where the view was instagram worthy. We then wandered the nights through the bustling stores of Johari Bazaar, a treasure casket overflowing with various fabrics, handcrafted jewelry, sweets and spices for a economic price.
DAY 2
Jodhpur, the Blue City – Jodhpur, a megacity awash in the comforting tinges of blue, offers a visual feast.We took a 6 hour bus ride from jaipur to jodhpur bus stand, then we stayed in a beautiful rajasthani homestay located in the bustling streets of blue. in the morning we visited the best, the Mehrangarh Fort, perched atop a steep hill, dominates the megacity’s skyline. Explore the complicate lanes of the old megacity, where indigo- washed houses produce a mesmerizing effect. In the afternoon we stuffed ourselves with delicious chole bature and took a stroll along the vibrant Sardar Market, a haven for handwrought leather goods and tasteful road food, we we bargained and got a sweater there as i forgot to bring my winter wear and had to fight with my sister for a share in her sweater in that freezing december cold. we then enjoyed the best street delicacies that sardar market had offered us.
DAY 3
Ajmer,the city of culture – Ajmer, a city of captivating contrasts, beckons with the serenity of the Ajmer Sharif Dargah and the grandeur of Mehrangarh Fort. though ajmer was not on our travel guide, we had to gone there to visit a friend’s house where we had got the oppurtunity to meet the king of jaipur who shared us captivating stories of rajasthan. then our friend took us to Explore the soul-stirring Qawwali music at the shrine, delve into the rich history at the fort, or simply unwind by the picturesque Foy Sagar Lake.at night we visited the famous ajmer sharif dargah where we had to hug our belongings tight in beware of theieves. we had a plate full of delicious shawarma and danced to the dhol music played in the dargah. Don’t forget to indulge in the best local Ajmeri Khurma and browse the exquisite silverwork in various places before departing this unique gem of Rajasthan.
DAY 4
Udaipur, the City of Lakes – a megacity of serene beauty, is nestled amidst shimmering lakes and the Aravalli Hills. Like Ranbir Kapoor said in the movie “Hai Jawaani Hai Deewani” it was indeed the best place to sacrifice your sleep for, The City Palace, a sprawling complex of yards, belvederes, and auditoriums , offers a regard into the opulent life of Rajasthan’s kingliness. we Took a boat ride on Lake Pichola, where the Lake Palace, a white marble phenomenon, stands as a symbol of Udaipur’s romantic charm. For a touch of church, we visited the Jagdish Temple, a vibrant corner adorned with intricate busts. Beyond the metropolises Unveiling Rajasthan’s retired Gems While the metropolises steal the limelight, Rajasthan’s magic extends far beyond its civic centers.
DAY 5
Pushkar, the Holy City – Pushkar, a sacred megacity on the props of Pushkar Lake, is a passage destination for Hindus. Witness the diurnal aarti( prayer form) at Brahma Temple, the only tabernacle devoted to Lord Brahma in the world. Explore the bustling Pushkar Camel Fair, a vibrant spectacle involving beast trading, camel races, and various artistic performances. we started the day with a serene boat ride on the lake, taking in the picturesque temples and ghats along the banks. we then Visited the revered Ajmer Sharif Dargah, a holy shrine that draws pilgrims from all faiths. In the afternoon, we lose ourselves in the vibrant Pushkar Camel Fair, a riot of colors where you can witness camel races, cultural performances, and traditional livestock trading. As twilight paints the sky, participate in the beautiful aarti ceremony at Brahma Temple, experiencing the spiritual essence of Pushkar.
DAY 6
Jaisalmer, the Golden City – Jaisalmer, nestled in the heart of the Thar Desert, is a megacity erected from honey- colored sandstone. The Jaisalmer Fort, a redoubtable structure perched on a hill, offers stirring views of the desert geography. Embark on a camel safari, a definitive Rajasthani experience, and spend a night under a sky ablaze with stars. In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling camel safari through the Thar Desert, experiencing the charm of a desert sunset and starlit night under a vast canopy. we visited the serene Gadsisar Lake and wandered through the bustling bazaars, picking up unique souvenirs before departing this enchanting city. we explored the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort, a majestic sandstone citadel housing ancient palaces and Jain temples. Delve into the city’s rich history at the Desert Culture Centre Museum. In the afternoon, we embarked on a thrilling camel safari through the Thar Desert, experiencing the charm of a desert sunset and starlit night under a vast canopy.
DAY 7
Bikaner, the Camel City – Bikaner, a former kingly state, is famed for its majestic Junagarh Fort and the emotional camel breeding granges that have earned it the surname” Camel City. we explored the Lalgarh Palace, a stunning illustration of Mughal armature, and lost ourselves in the vibrant thoroughfares of the old megacity. A festivity of Senses Unveiling Rajasthani Culture Rajasthan is a shade woven with vibrant traditions, witching art forms, and a warm, welcoming spirit. explore the majestic Junagarh Fort, a formidable structure showcasing Mughal and Rajput architectural styles. we ended the day with a delightful shopping spree in the vibrant bazaars, searching for handcrafted textiles and delicious sweets.
